Editorial policy
United Festival Review aims to make festival choices easier to understand without pretending that every event, site or audience is the same. We distinguish explanation from opinion and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable material before publication, use precise language and avoid presenting assumptions as established facts. Where an article discusses a general approach, it should say so; details that vary by place or event must not be treated as universal.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Partners do not receive control over editorial conclusions. Any material relationship relevant to a piece is disclosed clearly alongside that material.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review the point, check available evidence and amend confirmed errors; when a change materially affects an article, we make the correction clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, that is stated near the image. Images are not evidence for factual claims.
