What we welcome

We consider original, clearly scoped contributions about planning, places, programmes, access and traditions. Useful formats include an explainer, a comparison, a history piece or a focused account of how one design choice affects a gathering.

A strong pitch

State the proposed title or subject, the central question, the reader it would help and the main points the piece would cover. Explain what makes the angle distinct, note any relevant sources you would use, and flag potential conflicts or commercial ties.

Before you send

Proposals must be original and specific, avoid unsupported claims and respect the difference between general information and advice that depends on local rules or professional expertise. Send your pitch through the Contact page and select the editorial option.
